Real Betis' Amputee Football Team to Compete in EAFF Champions League

Real Betis' amputee football team will participate in the EAFF Amputee Football Champions League, the top club competition for this discipline, from October 23-25 in Fano, Italy. The team will compete alongside five other European teams.

Representation of Spain

Real Betis will be one of the six participating teams and will represent Spain in a tournament that will bring together clubs from different points of the continent. Alongside Real Betis will be Sporting, the Italian representative and host of the competition; Pokrova, from Ukraine; Wis?a Kraków, from Poland; 1. FSV Mainz 05, from Germany; and Tbilisi, from Georgia.

International Exposure

Participation in the EAFF Champions League will allow Real Betis' amputee football team to compete against some of the top European teams and continue bringing the thirteen stripes to the continent. The competition, organized by the European Amputee Football Federation, offers an opportunity for the team to continue growing and competing internationally, while also continuing to raise awareness of football for people with disabilities and the work carried out by the Real Betis Balompié Foundation.

All matches of the EAFF Champions League can be followed live through the official YouTube channel of the European Amputee Football Federation. The competition draw will determine the matchups and path that Real Betis will face in Fano.

The presence in this new edition represents a new opportunity for Real Betis' amputee football team to continue growing and competing internationally, while also continuing to raise awareness of football for people with disabilities and the work carried out by the Real Betis Balompié Foundation.
